Have made my first piece of jewellery using gold! Really pleased with how it has come out, and it has given me the idea that I’d like to make wedding jewellery as a hobby, so that will give me something to work towards over the coming year.

It is a little 9 carat gold heart on a larger silver heart, and I’ve beaded it using jewellery elastic so that it fits snugly on the wrist. I posted this picture on my Facebook page and have already had a couple of people saying that they would like me to make them one, which is great.
